Neo Sindarin - Pronouns

Summary

Sindarin has independent, subject, object, dative, possessive, relative and demonstrative pronouns.

They are all meant to solve different problems. Examples:

  Independent pronoun:
  te liltha = "s/he dances"

  Subject pronoun:
  annon = "I give"

  Object pronoun:
  Aragorn egin na den = "Aragorn looked at him/her/it" (ten)

  Dative pronoun:
  edro ammen "open for us"

  Possessive:
  e·gorf nín = "my ring"

  Relative:
  sad i aen nî belt = "[a] place which should be strong"

  Demonstrative:
  egínen ha = "‹I saw› that"

  Interrogative:
  mivan en·iant? = "where [is] the bridge?"
